Inaugurado no bairro do Brás, no centro da cidade de São Paulo, o Templo de Salomão é uma obra de arquitetura monumental. Idealizado pelo Bispo Edir Macedo, da Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus, o Templo foi inspirado no templo bíblico de mesmo nome, localizado em Jerusalém, e sua construção tem como objetivo proporcionar a busca pelo espiritual. Com capacidade para mais de dez mil pessoas – medidas baseadas nas orientações bíblicas –, o templo tem a altura de um prédio de 18 andares. Possui 36 salas de Escola Bíblica, estúdios de televisão e rádio, auditório para 500 pessoas e estacionamento para quase dois mil carros, além de 59 apartamentos quitinete e mais de 20 apartamentos com uma ou duas suítes. O Templo possui ainda o Cenáculo, museu que traz a história dos Templos antigos, com réplicas dos artefatos originais, para que o visitante se sinta realmente nos tempos bíblicos. O local conta também a história da construção do atual templo. A visita a esse memorial é feita acompanhada de guias do lugar, que deve ser previamente agendada. Por ser um ambiente de reverência e espiritualidade, os visitantes devem seguir algumas regras para entrar. As normas e condições podem ser consultadas no site. Já o Passeio Bíblico consiste em conhecer a réplica do Tabernáculo de Moisés e sua história, o Memorial com a história das 12 tribos de Israel e por último o Jardim das Oliveiras centenárias.
