Geocache Description:

This is in Harriman State Park. Elevation is 1045 ft.

The trail that leads to this cache gets a lot of use so it was kind of hard to find a place to put the cache and still have it within easy reach. So I put it about fifty feet off the trail. I placed it behind a rock and put some leaves and downed brances to mostly cover it. You won't see it till you are over it.
The cache is in a green ammo box. It contains some edibles and non- edibles and a log book. Take something/leave something but whatever you do remember to sign the log book. Also please rehide the cache. After finding the cache continue down the path to the lake and old ranger cabin ruins near the water. It's a beautiful lake and there is a great place by the water to rest and eat.
Have fun. If you would like to see some pictures of the hike that I went on to hide the cache check out my web site.
