Eine der Sehenswürdigkeiten in Rothenburg ist die Alte Holzbrücke über den Rotbach.
Die erste Erwähnung einer Brücke ist aus dem Jahre 1418, diese wurde dann von 1575 – 1577 durch eine Holzbrücke auf Steinpfeilern ersetzt.
Die heute noch bestehende alte Holzbrücke wurde von 1715 - 1717 erbaut.
Bis Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts gehörte die Rothenburger Brücke zum Kernstück des Luzerner Strassensystems und ermöglichte eine Verbindung von Basel zum Gotthard.
Diese Brücke steht unter Heimatschutz und bietet heute für manche romantische Begegnung oder manches Konzert den würdigen Rahmen.

One of the attractions in Rothenburg is the old wooden bridge over the Rotbach.
The first mention of a bridge dates back to 1418, this bridge was replaced between 1575 and 1577 by a wooden bridge on stone pillars.
The current old wooden bridge was built from 1715 to 1717.
Until the middle of the 18th century, the Rothenburg Bridge belonged to the heart of the Lucerne road system and allowed a connection from Basel to the Gotthard.
This bridge is now a protected monument and offers a worthy setting for some romantic encounters or even concerts.
