Ånnaboda - The Moose is loose Virtual Cache

[SE] I slutet av åttiotalet installerades en plåtälg i slutet av uppfarten till friluftscentrumet. Älgen blev tydligen så populär att den "försvann" över natt. Man misstänkte allt från ett tjuvaktigt pojkstreck till ett dåd av älgtokiga tyska turister - sanningen kom aldrig fram. Men - VIPPS - efter x antal år var älgen tillbaka! Och inte bara det - älgen hade fått sällskap av en liten älgkalv som hade installerats bara några meter bakom den stora älgen. Man visste inte om det var tjuvarnas dåliga samvete som gjorde att Ånnaboda fick sin "identitet" tillbaka (älgen fanns ju även i Fritid Kilsbergens logotyp), men alla i Ånnabodas personal och även besökande gästerna blev glada.

In the late eighties there was a metal moose installed at the end of the way up to Ånnaboda. Apparently this moose became so polular that it "disappeared" overnight. There were suspicions - everything from a boy's prank to an act of crazy German tourists - the truth was never revealed. But then - suddenly - after several years the moose was back! And not only that - the moose had got company by a small moose calf that had been installed just a few meters behind the large moose. It was not known if it was the thieves' bad concience that caused Ånnaboda to regain its "identity" (the moose was also found in Fritid Kilsbergen's logo), but everyone in Ånnaboda's staff and even the visiting guests were happy.
