About Streetcar - Trolley Transfer
This cache is located about halfway between the Portland Streetcar Lowell Terminus and the Willamette Shore Trolley Bancroft Street Terminus. They are just one block apart.
The Portland Streetcar connects the South Waterfront with Downtown Portland and the Pearl District. It operates 7-days a week with a car about every 12 minutes most of the day.
/ The Willamette Shore Trolley operates on the former Southern Pacific Red Electric Line. The line uses a Vintage Trolley transporting passengers from the South Waterfront to Lake Oswego. The cars run seasonally, generally from Memorial Day weekend thru October on weekends with a car running every 2 hours mid-day.
The cache is at a good location sit down to watch the Portland Streetcar turn off of Moody Street onto Lowell looking north. Looking south you can watch the Willamette Shore Trolley arrive then turn around to head back to Lake Oswego.
