Geocache Description:

The Old Croton Aqueduct State Park is a liner park running 26.2 miles from Van Cortland Park to the Croton Dam. There are more than 130 geocahes already along the trail, but we've been able to squeeze one in for the summer challenge. This cache will bring you to a lovely section in the north end near the dam.

This Cache is placed as part of the 2019 Taconic Region Geocache Challenge.  The NYS Parks Saratoga - Capital region and the Central region will be hosting a similar challenge!!  Find 45 challenge caches in the Taconic Region and stamp your passport to earn a trackable geo-coin.  Ten caches found in the Sara-Cap and/or Central region Challenge can be used toward the Taconic Challenge.

This cache contains a unique stamp which must stay with the cache. Use this stamp to mark your passport. This stamp is NOT a trade item. Some of the items in the cache are park souvenirs and do not need to be replaced with a trade item.

There is no fee to enter this park. Be sure to check each park or site’s unique web page for possible trail maps and other facility specific information. www.parks.ny.gov .
