The 360 degree view of Wyoming and into Colorado is worth the trip. A 4WD is highly recommended, although we did see an individual driving his Honda Accord up the road...not recommended.
This is a seasonal Cache. It resides at about 10,800 feet in elevation. The summer months are the best. The locals have vocals...the Picas take exception to our presence. So far they have not organized an attack. If the indigenous crowd creates a stir and you feel threatened, be sure to seek cover beneath a large boulder.
While at this altitude, be sure to watch for a fire down below. The contents of the ammo can include:
