Continental Expansion BYtheNumbers ARKSA CHALLENGE Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Seek2FindMe: Original local cacher (a family member) who should provide maintenance has permanently moved out of the area. The cinder block was part of the original camo ... hiding the actual container and log book (regular book, not a board). If they are putting in a a fence this may not be the best location for this cache.

Thanks for all who have visited. If you are interested in placing the same challenge in your home area please contact me ... my goal is to have at least one in every state. Currently there are Continental Expansion challenges in California, Arizona and Utah. Only 47 more states to go!

CHALLENGE:

log as FOUND a Reqyuired Minimum Number of caches in at least 13 US states /or 12 states and wildcard Washington DC.

TWIST:

minimum FOUND caches in each area must be AT LEAST equivalent to the order each specific state was ratified or admitted to the Union. The District of Columbia was formed after the first 13 colonies were ratified. As a "wildcard" it is assigned a value of "1" for the purpose of this challenge. DC is NOT a state.

The Difficulty rating of the cache reflects the "difficulty" of meeting the Challenge.  At a minimum to meet the challenge you will have logged a total of 79 caches NOT INCLUDING this one.  By comparison, west-coast caching would necessitate 233 finds for the six states of California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada and Idaho .... and 99 just for Hawaii and Alaska.

PROVIDED REFERENCE ITEMS:

(1) A checker for your convenience in determining your qualification status. It is not necessary to list the caches in your log ... but you may if that is what you want to log.
