Sunrise on Snowdon Event Cache

This event is from 4:30AM - 5:00AM at Snowdon summit

There are many ways to walk up to Snowdon's summit. We will be walking from Pen-y-Pass following the Pyg Track from around 1am leaving us plenty of time to reach the summit by sunrise which is at 4:49am. If you choose to park at Pen-y-Pass there is a £10 charge to do so.
This is not a guided walk and Snowdon is a tough mountain to climb. It has a reputation as being ‘easy ‘and often attracts underprepared walkers. Make sure you are fit, well dressed and prepared for a full day in the mountains. Map and compass are essential for all hillwalkers on all mountains.
