Jak známo, čas je relativní pojem, ale jak je to s jeho podstatou a existencí vůbec, se ve vědeckých kruzích diskutuje od nepaměti a v posledním století snad ještě více. Díky internetu lze celkem snadno nalézt různé studie, teorie, rozbory, analýzy a kdo ví co ještě, jako by snad ten čas bylo právě ono, co by nás smrtelníky mělo zajímat mezi tím vším, čemu jsme ještě ve vesmíru neporozuměli, nemluvě o životě na téhle naší planetě vůbec…
Přitom stačilo už v minulém století zajít na Kampu (to je ten Rivec v Práglu), zeptat se pana Wericha a hned by bylo jasno, ten by nám to totiž vysvětlil jednou pro vždy: „Čas si vymysleli lidi, aby věděli, od kdy do kdy a hlavně co za to.“
Definici bychom tedy měli, nicméně přesto je vnímání času veskrze subjektivní, no, posuďte sami – už tři roky jsou tomu, co v Brně proběhl historicky vůbec první megáč jako takový, navíc věnovaný přestupnému roku. A leckomu to připadá, jako by to bylo loni, včera…? Kdepak, už více než tři roky uplynuly a za pár měsíců, které utečou ještě rychleji, ho tu máme zase…
A co že vlastně? Megáč? Přestupný rok? NO OBOJE PŘECE !!!
Přestupný rok
29. únor je 60. den roku podle gregoriánského kalendáře. Do konce roku zbývá 306 dní.
Tento den se vyskytuje pouze v přestupném roce.
Přestupný rok je delší než běžný rok a vkládá se v intervalu podle daného kalendáře.
Používá se v solárních (juliánský, gregoriánský) i lunisolárních kalendářích k vyrovnávání rozdílů mezi délkou kalendářního a tropického roku.
Délka kalendářního roku je daná určitým počtem dní nebo měsíců odvozených od doby rotace Země kolem své osy, resp. doby rotace Měsíce kolem Země, zatímco tropický rok je dán dobou oběhu Země kolem Slunce, který ovlivňuje střídání ročních období.
V solárních kalendářích mívá přestupný rok 366 dní místo 365, v lunisolárních 13 měsíců místo 12.

Na počest koláře Birka, který dle pověsti během jediného dne dokázal porazit strom, vyrobit z něj kolo a dokutálet jej vlastníma rukama z Lednice až do vzdáleného Brna. Počítat se bude nejen celkový počet kilometrů, ale i počet zúčastněných. Přispět k vytvoření rekordu tak může každý z vás i pouhou několikavteřinovou jízdou!
Samotný maraton s pokusem o rekord bude probíhat mezi 10:00 - 15:00

Chystáme pro vás prohlídky vybraných památek, jako jsou Kasematy na hradě Špilberk, kostnice, Brněnské podzemí, věž Staré radnice, katedrála sv. Perta a Pavla, neboli Petrov, a dalších.

Liebe deutschsprachige Geocacher!
Wie man weiß, ist Zeit ein relativer Begriff, aber wie es in seinem Wesen und seiner Existenz im Allgemeinen ist, wurde er in wissenschaftlichen Kreisen seit Menschengedenken und vielleicht noch mehr im letzten Jahrhundert diskutiert. Dank des Internets ist es ziemlich einfach, verschiedene Studien, Theorien und Analysen zu finden, und wer weiß was noch alles, vor allem, was wir im Universum noch nicht verstanden haben, ganz zu schweigen vom Leben auf unserem Planeten überhaupt, als ob die Zeit das Wichtigste für uns Sterblichen wäre ...
Im letzten Jahrhundert reichte es, nach Kampa (einem alten Teil von Prag) zu fahren und Herrn Jan Werich zu fragen, und es wäre klar, weil er es ein für alle Mal erklären würde: „Die Zeit wurde von Menschen erfunden, um zu wissen, von wann bis wann und vor allem wonach sie als Belohnung fragen sollen.“
Wir sollten also eine Definition haben, aber dennoch ist die Wahrnehmung der Zeit ziemlich subjektiv, nun, urteilen Sie selbst. Es ist mehr als drei Jahre her, als das erste MegaEvent überhaupt, in Brünn organisiert wurde, das außerdem dem Schaltjahr gewidmet ist. Aber viele von Ihnen denken vielleicht, es war erst letztes Jahr, gestern ...? Nein, es war vor mehr als drei Jahren und in ein paar Monaten, die noch schneller vergehen werden, sind wir wieder hier…
… Und was genau? MegaEvent? Schaltjahr? Nun, BEIDE !!!
Schalttag
Der 29. Februar ist ein Datum, das normalerweise alle vier Jahre auftritt und Schalttag genannt wird. Dieser Tag wird in Schaltjahren als Korrekturmaßnahme in den Kalender aufgenommen, da die Erde die Sonne nicht in genau 365 Tagen umkreist. Ein Schalttag wird in Sonnen- (Julian, Gregorian) und Mondkalendern verwendet, um die Unterschiede zwischen der Länge eines Kalenderjahres und einem astronomischen Jahr auszugleichen.
Die Länge eines Kalenderjahres ergibt sich aus einer bestimmten Anzahl von Tagen oder Monaten, die sich aus der Zeit der Erdrotation um die Erdachse ergeben. Die Zeit der Mondrotation um die Erde, während des astronomischen Jahres, die durch die Zeit der Erdumlaufbahn um die Sonne gegeben ist, welche den Wechsel der Jahreszeiten beeinflusst. In Sonnenkalendern hat das Schaltjahr 366 statt 365 Tage, in Mondkalendern 13 statt 12 Monate..

Einen neuen tschechischen Rekord aufstellen - ein fünfstündiger Marathon mit dem Hand Bike-Simulator
Zum Gedenken an den Radbauer Birk, der der Legende nach einen Baum fällte, ein Rad baute und es mit den eigenen Händen von Lednice in das weit entfernte Brünn rollte - alles an einem Tag.
Es wird nicht nur die Gesamtkilometerzahl, sondern auch die Anzahl der Teilnehmer gezählt. So kann jeder von ihnen innerhalb weniger Sekunden zum Rekord beitragen!
Der Rekordmarathon selbst findet von 10:00 bis 15:00 Uhr statt.

As is known, time is a relative term, but how it is about its principle and existence, it has been discussed in scientific fields since time immemorial and perhaps even more in the last century. Thanks to the internet, it is quite easy to find various studies, theories, analysis, and who knows what else, as if the time was the most important thing for us mortals ...
It would be enough to go to Kampa (an old part of Prague) in past century and ask Mr. Jan Werich and we'd be clear now, that he would explain it to us once and for all: "Time has been invented by people to know from when to when and especially what to ask for as a reward. ”
So we should have a definition, but still the perception of time is quite subjective, well, judge for yourself – It is three years ago, when the first MegaEvent in Brno ever has been organized, moreover dedicated to the leap year. But many of you may think, that it was last year, yesterday ...? No, they've been gone for more than three years, and in a few months that will pass even faster, we have here again…
…And what exactly? MegaEvent? Leap-year? Well, BOTH of them !!!
Leap day
February 29 is a date that usually occurs every four years, and is called leap day. This day is added to the calendar in leap years as a corrective measure, because the Earth does not orbit the sun in precisely 365 days. A leap year (also known as an intercalary year or bissextile year) is a calendar year containing one additional day (or, in the case of lunisolar calendars, a month) added to keep the calendar year synchronized with the astronomical or seasonal year.
Because seasons and astronomical events do not repeat in a whole number of days, calendars that have the same number of days in each year drift over time with respect to the event that the year is supposed to track. By inserting (also called intercalating) an additional day or month into the year, the drift can be corrected. A year that is not a leap year is called a common year. The name "leap year" probably comes from the fact that while a fixed date in the Gregorian calendar normally advances one day of the week from one year to the next, the day of the week in the 12 months following the leap day (from March 1 through February 28 of the following year) will advance two days due to the extra day (thus "leaping over" one of the days in the week). For example, Christmas Day (December 25) fell on a Sunday in 2016, Monday in 2017, and Tuesday in 2018, then will fall on Wednesday in 2019 but then "leaps" over Thursday to fall on a Friday in 2020.

In memory of wheelwright Birk, who, according to a legend, cut down the tree, made a wheel and rolled it with their own hands from Lednice town to long-distant Brno – all in one day.
Not only the total number of kilometers will be counted, but also the number of participants. Contributing to the creation of a record can be made by each of you in just a few-seconds cycling!
The actual marathon with a record attempt will run between 10:00 - 15:00
