Geocache Description:

15 June 2019, 09:00 - 12:00

A collaboration with the River Raisin Institute and River Raisin Watershed Council:  Join us to help clean up the beach of Sterling State Park in honor of the International Annual Coastal Clean Up. Volunteers will remove trash and debris from the shorelines at Sterling State Park at the Huron Pavilion along Lake Erie. Cleaning up these areas not only makes them more aesthetically pleasing for recreational use, but makes them safer and more habitable for wetland species.

Admission to the park is free for volunteers for this event. Simply mention at the park entrance that you are there for the beach cleanup.

Everyone is welcome to participate, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

Gloves and bags available.   Snacks and water provided.
