[LV] Rukšu purvs ir augstais purvs, kurš atrodas Kurzemes ziemeļu daļā. Purva kopējā platība ir salīdzinoši neliela, tikai 216 hektāri, veidojot apaļa veida teritoriju. Rukšu purvs ir vienīgais koncentriskais purvs Latvijā - purva ciņi, akači un lāmas izkārtoti apļa veidā no purva centra uz malām. Ar ūdenstilpēm šķietami pilnais purvs no malas nebūs atpazīstams - dodoties iekšā purvā, būs iespēja novērot reljefa pacelšanos, purvam kopumā veidojot kupolu, kas var būt pat līdz 5-6 metriem augstāks kā apkārtējā teritorija, kā rezultātā, purva ezeriņus un lāmas, kuri atgādina Mīnataura labirintu, redzēsiet tikai brīdī, kad būsiet iebriduši dziļāk. Tālumā varēs sadzirdēt dzērves un purva tilbītes, kā arī uzmanīgi ieskatoties, varēs ieraudzīt kukaiņēdāju augu – raseni.

[EN] Rukšu Purvs is a high bog located in the northern part of Kurzeme, Latvia. The total area of the bog is relatively small, only 216 hectares, forming a circular territory. Rukšu Purvs is the only concentric bog in Latvia - the bog pits, hummocks, and ridges are arranged in a circular pattern from the center of the bog to the edges. The seemingly full bog with its water bodies will not be recognizable from the side of swamp - entering the bog, you will have the opportunity to observe the relief rising, forming a dome that can be even 5-6 meters higher than the surrounding area. As a result, you will only see the bog ponds and ridges that resemble the labyrinth of Minotaur when you have gone deeper. In the distance, you can hear deer and bog pipits, and if you look closely, you can see the insect-eating plant - sundew.
The cache is located in the northern part of the bog, 2at nearby clump of trees, where the largest pine tree in the bog. You can go after the cache from any point, but the information section notes the parking spot at the end of the LVM forest road, where you can comfortably park your car at the turning loop and walk along the forest path and trail to the entrance of the bog - a once-dug ditch and a very small peat extraction site in a linear form. Remember! You are going into nature - what you bring, take it with you. Rukšu Purvs is a nature reserve, so we should treat nature especially carefully and follow the regulations of the law.
