GGA June 2019 — 18th Anniversary Event
& Hall of Fame Presentation!
Another year has passed, which means it's time to celebrate the birth of the world's oldest Geocaching organization: The Georgia Geocachers Association! Please join us at Panola Mountain State Park on June 8, 2019, from 11 am until 1 pm. The GGA will provide food, drinks and a birthday cake! During the event, we will conduct an activity or two for some fun, and will also announce the 2019 class of the Georgia Geocachers Hall of Fame. All of the inductees have added something special to Geocaching in Georgia and this is a great opportunity to honor them and say Thank You!
There will be several items up for raffle at the event. We will also have the GGA store open with T-Shirts and other GGA memorabilia available. Our brand new 2019 GGA Coin will be unveiled and will be available for sale as well! All proceeds will go to benefit the GGA and help fund future events.
Have a geocaching milestone coming up? At the June event the GGA will announce a surprise associated with milestones!
NOTE: The event is free, but you must either have a GA State Parks parking pass or pay $5 for a one-day parking pass. A great option for parking passes and additional benefits is to become a member of Friends of Georgia State Parks.
PARKING: Unless you are unable to complete a very short easy hike to the shelter, please use the Parking Waypoint for a parking spot instead of trying to park next to the shelter. Parking near the shelter is EXTREMELY limited and should be saved for those who really need it. Thank you!
