Another opportunity to earn your official Groundspeak CITO season souvenir and give something back to the environment, starting with our own stunning South Park.
CITO ("Cache In, Trash Out") events are a chance for Geocachers to make a positive contribution to the effort of keeping our world beautiful, safe and as they should be. We often make use of this rich landscape as we hide and seek our caches but this gives us a chance to do more.
This event is being held in support of the Great British Spring Clean, inspired by the Keep Britain Tidy campaign which is running during this CITO season. This however, is primarily a gathering of geocachers and is independent of other 'official' GBSC events.
Meet at the published coordinates at 9.15 for a briefing. You should wear sturdy shoes or boots, gloves and be prepared for inclement weather! We'll easily be finished in time for lunch but feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks!
Children are welcome to take part but should be supervised by a responsible adult AT ALL TIMES. Dogs are welcome too but should be kept on a lead. (Dogs can also take part by encouraging their owners to take away any poop they leave!) Everyone takes part at their own risk, although accidents and incidents are unlikely if we're careful and sensible.
The official Groundspeak souvenir will be added to your profile automatically once you log that you have attended this event.
