Nomen est Omen: Bei diesem Wherigo musst du einen Auftrag erledigen.

Der Solothurner Stadtpräsident ist der Meinung, Solothurn sei nicht attraktiv genug, der Stadt fehle ein Publikumsmagnet. Als Freund der Künste schwebt ihm ein Kunstwerk vor, dass die Stadt mindestens schweizweit bekannter macht.

Da er selber kein Künstler ist, hat er zu dir Kontakt aufgenommen. Warum und wie er gerade auf dich kam, bleibt dir ein Rätsel. Jedenfalls hat er dich damit beauftragt, eine Idee, ein Konzept auszuarbeiten. Da deine eigenen künstlerischen Ideen bisher so gerade für den Hausbereich reichten, machst du dich auf den Weg nach Solothurn, um dir ein Bild von der Stadt und den bereits vorhandenen öffentlichen Kunstwerken zu machen.

Du hoffst, dass dir dabei die zündende Idee kommt, die deinen Auftraggeber zufrieden stellen wird...

Unterwegs werden die Inspirationen über dich kommen. Sammle sie! Es gibt insgesamt 5 dieser Eingebungen. Es macht aber nichts, wenn du nicht ganz so kreativ bist und dir weniger Inspirationen zufliegen. Ausserdem wirst du bei deinem Gang durch Solothurn einfache Entscheidungen treffen müssen. Deine Wahl und die Anzahl der gefundenen Inspirationen beeinflussen das Ende des Wherigos. Aber keine Angst: Beenden wirst du ihn in jedem Fall können.

Beachte ausserdem:

• Sei geduldig beim Klicken und Eingeben, sonst kann Dir das Spiel eventuell abstürzen!

• Nicht gleich beim Betreten einer Zone etwas tun, sondern etwas weiter in die Zone gehen, und beim Eingeben stehenbleiben.

• Die Stromsparfunktion unbedingt vermeiden, einige Geräte stürzen ab, wenn diese aktiv wird.

• Das Spiel speichert automatisch nach jeder Station. Sollte sich der Player aufhängen - und damit muss man bei Wherigos immer rechnen - einfach das gespeicherte Spiel nochmals laden und an der vorigen Station weitermachen.

• Die Cartridge wurde erfolgreich auf Android (Samsung Galaxy S9, Sony Xperia X mit WhereYouGo), iPhone SE mit Wherigo und Garmin Oregon 450T getestet. Falls du den Cache mit einem anderen Gerät erfolgreich absolviert hast, bin ich froh um Rückmeldung, um die Liste der möglichen Devices zu vervollständigen.

Sollten dennoch Probleme beim Absolvieren des Wherigos auftreten, bin ich froh über eine Nachricht, damit ich diese beheben kann.

The city president of Solothurn is of the opinion that Solothurn is not attractive enough and that the city lacks a crowd-puller. As a friend of the arts, he has in mind a work of art that will make the city at least better known throughout Switzerland.

Since he is not an artist himself, he has made contact with you. Why and how he came upon you remains a mystery to you. In any case, he commissioned you to work out an idea, a concept. Since your own artistic ideas have so far just been enough for the house area, you are on your way to Solothurn to get an idea of the city and the already existing public works of art.

On your way the inspirations will come over you. Collect them! There are a total of 5 of these inspirations. But it doesn't matter if you are not so creative and have less inspiration. Besides, as you walk through Solothurn, you will have to make simple decisions. Your choice and the number of inspirations found will influence the end of the Wherigo. But don't worry: you will be able to finish it in any case.

Note also:

• Be patient while clicking and typing, otherwise the game may crash! • Do not do anything when entering a zone, but go a little further into the zone and stop while typing.

• Avoid the power saving function at all costs, some devices will crash if it becomes active.

• The game saves automatically after each station. If the player hangs up - and you always have to expect this with Wherigos - simply reload the saved game and continue at the previous station.

• The cartridge has been successfully tested on Android (Samsung Galaxy S9, Sony Xperia X with WhereYouGo), iPhone SE with Wherigo and Garmin Oregon 450T. If you successfully completed the cache with another device, I'm happy to receive feedback to complete the list of supported devices.
