We will meet the Children's wood at the posted coordinates for some gorse clearance.
The reason for clearing the gorse is to allow other plants to regenerate. And improve the diversity of the habitat which will in turn attract a wider variety of insects, birds and mammals to the area.
If everyone could bring good gloves, and a pair of secateurs, loppers or a small saw. I will bring supplies to make tea and coffee. (I may even bring some cake or pastries)
