Park at end of Johnsontown Rd.in traffic circle. White Bar trail heads NE. Out and back is just under 4 miles.
The Cache is located in an area known as "Dutch Doctor" (NY/NJ Trail Conference Harriman South Map) There was an Herb farm 1874 - 1910 cared for by Dr. Helms an Herbelist, about 200' west of Cache site. The Cache is a Square RubberMaid with white lid. Contents; 3 CD's U2 - Achtung Baby, Raindogs - Lost Souls, Pat Metheny - Zero Tolerence for Noise, A key fob, boot laces, notepad, pen and pencil. With above mentioned map numerous loop hikes of 5 -9 miles can easily be made. 8/22/04 Now an ammo box. Music TB released.
