Wie jedes Jahr bin ich auch 2019 an Gründonnerstag in der Nähe von Ca'n Picafort zum Radeln und daher möchte ich dieses Jahr mal zu einem "Döner's Tag-Event" einladen. Das letzte Jahr war der Döner-King um diese Zeit zwar geschlossen. Es gibt aber Gerüchte, dass er dieses Jahr auf hat. Es wird sehr informell zugehen. Laut den Regeln wird auch niemand zum Döner-Essen verpflichtet, wenn er das Logbuch signieren möchte.
Das Logbuch liegt mindestens
von 18:00 Uhr bis 19:00 Uhr
aus. Lustige Gespräche über Geocaching sind garantiert. Wer mag, darf gerne TBs zum discovern und tauschen mit bringen. Ich werde dafür sogar eine Dose bereit stellen.
Geschichte:
Der erste Dönerstag fand am 5. April 2007 statt, Zentralevent war Döner's Tag 2007 von "moenk" an einem Döner-Imbiss in Berlin. Damit sollte der Ort geehrt werden, an dem der Döner Gerüchten zufolge entstanden ist. Ziel war ein deutschlandweites "dezentrales MEGA-Event" auf die Beine zu stellen, was von geocaching.com nicht genehmigt wurde. So wurden zeitgleich viele Events veranstaltet, z.B. auch in Österreich, Südtirol und Mallorca. Diese Events wurden auch in den folgenden Jahren veranstaltet und werden über eine Seite im Grünen Forum organisiert, sofern sie Deutschland betreffen. 2017 wurde das Event von Groundspeak Inc. mit einem Besuch von Signal the frog gewürdigt. Like every year (same procedure), I am cycling in 2019 on Maundy Thursday near Ca'n Picafort and therefore I would like to invite you to a "Dönerstag-Event". Last year, the döner-shop was closed around this time. But there are rumors that it will be open this year. It will be very informal. According to the rules, no one is obliged to eat kebab if you want to sign the logbook.

Funny conversations about geocaching are guaranteed. If you like, you are welcome to bring TBs to discover and exchange. I will even provide a box for them.
History:
The first "Dönerstag" took place on 5th April 2007, the central event was Döner's Day 2007 by "moenk" at a Döner-Kebab shop in Berlin. This was to honor the place where the Döner was invented. The goal was to set up a Germany-wide "decentralized MEGA event", which was not approved by geocaching.com. Thus many events were held at the same time, e.g. also in Austria, South Tyrol and Mallorca. These events were also organized in the following years and are organized via the Green Forum, as far as they concern Germany.
