Community Tree Plant II
Amersham Town Council have been donated hundreds of native trees and need lots of help to plant them. Please feel free to join come along to help with a fantastic opportunity to look after the environment for generations to come. Amersham in Bloom are more than happy for the Geocaching Community to participate in this event and other events in the future! If you came to the Community Tree Plant event in December 2019, please come back again to see how the last batch of trees have grown! If you couldn't make it last time, come and join in on the fun!

Please bring:
Wellies / outdoor walking boots, warm winter clothing, garden fork / trowels. garden gloves (although I think that Amersham in Bloom may also have a limited supply of these).
Access to Willow Wood:
Please use the footpath that starts at the Stanley Hill Cemetery entrance only. There is no access from London Road.
Parking:
Please park at the cemetery. The road is single track, so please park sensibly to allow access for others accessing the cemetery. There is also limited access at the entrance.
Public Transport:
Amersham Underground Station is a long walk away, through short cuts and side roads, and will take longer when using the main roads. Carousel Buses also operate the Number 1a bus, serving High Wycombe, Hazlemere, Holmer Green, Chesham Bois and Chesham. This service does not serve Stanley Hill on a Sunday. Alight at Tesco in Old Amersham or Amersham Underground Station. Taxis are usually available from Amersham Undersground Station .
Please be aware there are no public facilities nearby.
