Norges første og verdens nordligste GeoTour.
Eventet finner sted på Trondenes Historiske Senter lørdag 9. Februar fra kl. 10:00-11:00. Senteret åpner kun for oss denne lørdagen, så utstillingen er ikke åpen.
Vi møtes for å FEIRE at vi har fått en GeoTour i Harstad!!
En GeoTour er en samling av geocacher med samme tema gjemt i et gitt område. Temaet for vår HåloGeoTour er vikingene, og denne touren vil vise deg steder vikingene oppholdt seg, og lære deg om vikingehistorien i Harstad og omegn. På eventet vil HåloGeo presentere GeoTouren, gå videre inn på valg av navn og tema, i hvilket område det er lagt ut cacher, trekke fram noen utvalgte cachebeskivelser, vise fram og forklare passet som alle som gjennomfører touren må fylle ut, reisetips, hvilke "premier" man kvalifiserer for ved å fullføre og hvordan en GeoTour skiller seg fra å fullføre en PowerTrail. Du får selvsagt også med deg et pass, sånn at du er klar til start!

We invite you to participate at our kick- off event for the HåloGeoTour!
Norway's first and the world's northernmost GeoTour.
The event will take place Saturday 9th of February 10:00-11:00 am, at the historical center in Trondenes. The center is opening it's doors for us exclusively this Saturday, so the exhibitions will be closed.
We will meet to celebrate that we have gotten a GeoTour in Harstad!
A GeoTour is a collection of geocaches with a specific topic hidden in a given area. The theme for our HåloGeoTour is the vikings, and this GeoTour will show you places where the vikings used to live, and teach you about the viking history in Harstad and the area around. At the event HåloGeo will present the GeoTour; go further in to the selection of name and the theme, in which areas the caches are placed, some selected caches and cache descriptions, present the passport that everyone that completes the tour needs to fill in, tips to complete the GeoTour, what "prices" you might qualify for and how a GeoTour is different to a regular PowerTrail. You will of course also get a passport so that you are ready to start!
