Geocache Description:

This is about a half mile hike but the views are spectacular

We placed this cache in honor of National Lighthouse week. It is a Lighthouse themed cache. Cape Blanco is the westerly most lighthouse in the lower 48 states. From the cache site you can clearly see the light. It should be on for 2 seconds and dark for 18. The trails are not heavily traveled. There is a nice bench at the end. The trash bag will probably get torn up pretty quick because of the cover it is in so if you are the 4th or 5th cacher in you might replace the trash bag. Oh yeah we kicked off our new 2nd finder certificate here. So don't hurry toooo fasy and you can have a unique cert. Have fun with this. We saw lots of California Sea Lions sunning themselves on the rocks on the way to the site.
