Her skal du oppsøke de oppgitte koordinatene, videre følger du bildene i beskrivelsen til du når finalen. Denne typen kombinerer en vanlig tradisjonell cache og bruk av stempel. Stempelet er ment å forbli i cachen og brukes av geocachere til å registrere besøket.
Et av de rikeste og mest fantastiske oldtidsfunn ble gjort i Kongsvik i 1740-årene. Funnet er beskrevet i detalj i rettsprotokoller fra tingmøte i Kongsvik 13.juni 1749, og slik vet vi omfanget av det.
Funnet kom for dagen da den ti år gamle gutten Hans Paulsen og søsteren Anna Paulsdatter i 1744 ble sendt opp i åsen for å sanke brensel. Mens de gikk der i krattskogen kom Hans plutselig over en perle på størrelse med et stær- eller spurveegg og noen tråder av metall. De tok dette med hjem til faren, Paul Hansen. Sakene ble så levert videre til sognepresten, Arnoldus Schytte, uten at det skjedde noe mer.
Hans hadde merket seg funnstedet og i 1747 gjorde han på nytt et funn der. Denne gangen var det gjenstander formet som «billeder og båtformet». Faren var bortreist på fiske og Hans tok gjenstandene med til naboen Lars Michelsen. Lars ble med opp til stedet og under en steinhelle fant de en hel del metallsaker, som senere ble overlevert fogden Christian Schnitler.
Arkeologene Gerd Stamsø Munch og Povl Simonsen har gjort en faglig vurdering av funnet ut fra beskrivelsene i rettsprotokollene og har identifisert følgende gjenstander:
• Flere gullperler, store som spurve- og stæregg
• En snodd betalingsring, vekt 5 gram
• En korsformet gullplate, vel en del av en smykkenål
• Minst 11 små gullbilder, sannsynligvis flere
• En del små båtfigurer av løvtynt gull
Vekta på gjenstandene ble anslått til 300-370 gram, noe som gjør funnet til det nest største gullfunnet i Nord-Norge. Eieren har utvilsomt vært en høvding og funnet styrker helt klart teorien om et mektig høvdingsete i området.

Det er ikke klarlagt eksakt hvor gullskatten ble funnet men historien om den er fortsatt levende her ved Tjeldsundet og funnstedet heter fortsatt “Gullåsen”.

The gold discovery in Kongsvik
One of the richest and most amazing ancient finds has been made in Kongsvik in the 1740s. The discovery is described in detail in court records from the congressional meeting in Kongsvik on 13 June 1749, and that’s how we know the extent of it. The discovery was made when the ten-year-old boy Hans Paulsen and his sister Anna Paulsdatter in 1744 was sent up the hill to gather firewood. As they walked in the bush, Hans suddenly found a pearl with the size of a starling or sparrow egg and some metal threads. They took this home to their father, Paul Hansen. The goods were then passed on to the parish priest, Arnoldus Schytte, without anything happening. Hans had marked the location and in 1747 he made a new discovery there. This time he found items shaped like images and a little boat. His father was gone fishing and Hans took the items to the neighbor Lars Michelsen. Lars went with them up to the location, and under a stone slab they found a lot of metal cases, which later were handed over to the bailiff Christian Schnitler. Archaeologists Gerd Stamsø Munch and Povl Simonsen have made an academic assessment of the discovery of the descriptions in the court records and have identified the following objects:
• Several gold beads, large as sparrow and starling eggs
• A twisted ring, weight 5 grams
• A cruciform gold plate, a part of a jewelery needle
• At least 11 small gold images, probably more
• Some small boat figures of leaf gold
The weight of the objects were estimated to 300-370 grams, making the discovery the second largest gold discovery in Northern Norway. The owner has undoubtedly been a chieftain and the discovery clearly strengthens the theory of a mighty chieftain seat in the area.

It is not exactly clear where the gold treassure was found but the story of it is still lives here at Tjeldsundet and the discovery site is still called "The golden hill".
