Her skal du oppsøke de oppgitte koordinatene, videre følger du bildene i beskrivelsen til du når finalen. Denne typen kombinerer en vanlig tradisjonell cache og bruk av stempel. Stempelet er ment å forbli i cachen og brukes av geocachere til å registrere besøket.




Asbjørn Sigurdson Selsbane var født rundt 1000-tallet og var høvding på Trondenes. Han var sønn av Sigurd Toresson og nevøen til Tore Hund på Bjarkøy. Tilnavnet Selsbane fikk han da han drepte Kong Olav Haraldssons åremann, Tore Sel, på kongsgården Avaldsnes. Som straff måtte Asbjørn selv tiltre i stillingen som åremann, noe han ikke fant seg i. Asbjørn Selsbane ble til slutt drept av kongens ombudsmann Åsmund Grankjellson. Det var dette drapet Tore Hund skulle hevne, da han drepte Kongen i Slaget på Stiklestad i 1030.

Here you need to visit the posted coordinates and then follow the picture in the description until you reach the final. This cache combines a traditional cache and the use of a rubber stamp. The rubber stamp is not a trade item but intended to stay within the cache.




Asbjørn “Selsbane” Sigurdson was born around the 11th century and was chieftain of Trondenes. He was the son of Sigurd Toresson and the nephew of Thorir Hund at Bjarkøy. He was given the nickname Selsbane after killing King Olav Haraldsson's bailiff, Thorir Sel, at the king's house at Avaldsnes. As punishment, Asbjørn himself had to take up the position as a bailiff, a punishment he did not accept. Asbjørn Selsbane was eventually killed by the king's sheriff Asmund Grankelson. It was this murder Thorir Hund was revenged when he killed the King in the Battle of Stiklestad in 1030.
