Seeing a special set of numbers on the GPS is always an exciting experience. I am inviting you to visit a degree confluence. What is that? It is the exact spot where an integer degree of latitude and an integer degree of longitude meet - in this case, N 46°00'00" and E 19°00'00" , on a dirt road on an agricultural land, near the village of Gara.
Besides the equator, there are 89 latitudes on both hemispheres (so a total number of 179) and 360 longitudes. These have 179 x 360 = 64,440 intersections. Out of these only 21,543 are on land, and only 11 of those are in Hungary. So, come and visit one! Don't expect much to see: it is rich, black, beautiful agricultural land, that offers you a peaceful walk. When you get to GZ look at your GPS, enjoy the zeros and find the cache!
