A nice wooded area to walk through opening out into fields with a walk back down a large verged country lane just over 1.2 miles....A torch at some point in your journey will be helpful
Some parts will be muddy and wellies would be a good call in winter
Please take care of little geocachers on the return journey down the lane please.
This building is the old Ulverscroft Mill which ceased operating in the 1940's and even then it was only operating one day a week.
There is a now dry mill pond behind the structure which was dammed and the water fed through the building..
The pond could be filled in 2hrs with 660 cubic metres of water generating 3Kw of energy easily enough for the milling to take place.
It is an eyrie sight now after years and years of decay
