Geocache Description:

A cache placed to mark the centenary of the end of The Great War in 1918.

You should be standing in the Crayford War Memorial Gardens and all the info required to find the cache can be found in here.

Each Remembrance Sunday a service takes place here. Wreaths are laid and the one minute silence is observed. This year the bell ringers rang 1918 changes of doubles to mark the occasion. 1400 ringers were killed during the war and towers up and down the country have, over the last 4 years, been marking the centenary of their deaths by ringing in their memory.
