G4 (Gaithersburg Germantown Geocaching Gathering) - Merry Christmas!
Tis the holiday season and I have to squeeze one last G4 event in before I head to Antarctica on 6 Dec. If you have a small TB that you want to travel to, or be left in, Antarctica feel free to bring it.
Break out the stockings, lights, trees, and nativity scences because it's Christmas time! It's that time of year to decorate the house and hide anything valuable you don't want your inlaws to steal. In the spirit of the holidays people will fight over parking spots, jockey for space in checkout lines, and dread the arrival of extended family. Luckily for us, we can always escaped to the great outdoors in pursuit of another geocache (and GeoRick's yearly Christmas cache, no pressure GeoRick). Who knows, you may even find a decorated Christmas Tree that is a geocache. But you won't need a GPSr to find baby Jesus in his manger, the real reason for this season.
This month we'll just be hanging out and chatting about whatever. Feel free to come decorated in an ugly Christmas sweater, or Santa hat (or both!). Just watch for Jacksom51 and his binoculars when working on puzzles, he'll be looking for those corrected coords.
