There are a ton of cache in Belleau Lake park, but a space just big enough to slip this in on the farside of the lake. A most scenic area looking back onto the park side / forest and beautiful lake. It’s quiet, a reminder of a more simple time when a pole and a “line” is all you needed to “hook” tonight’s special dinner. This park offers families shore fishing, one big parking lot and a short walk to ground zero. Belleau lake was created as a barrow pit to build the adjacent highway, now managed by the “Forest Preserve” it is beautiful offering a great place for a walk, picnic with the family or fish for a geo-cache.
Please take your time and replace as found, and if you feel it worthy, please leave a heart with your log.
