MOST přes STŘELU
Denně přes něj přejedou tisíce aut, přejdou stovky lidí.
Původní silnice z Plzně na Žatec vedla přes Oboru, Nebřeziny na Sokolku a na Mariánsku Týnici. Plasy, tehdy jen panství Metternichů, objížděla z východu.
Kamenný most v Plasích zničila velká povodeň roku 1872. Za pět let byl postaven nový, železný, a spolu s ním nová silnice se serpentinami do údolí.
Další, betonový z roku 1934, byl zbourán v roce 2010 a postaven současný. S ním byl vybudován módní kruhový objezd za 30 milionů korun. V průběhu několika let bude vybudován obchvat Plas.

Thousands of cars use it every day, and hundreds of pedestrians, too.
The old road from Pilsen to Žatec led through Obora, Nebřezin, up to Sokolka and farther to Mariánská Týnice. Plasy, the Metternich estate at that time, passed from the east.
The stone bridge in Plasy was destroyed during the great flood in 1872. A new steel bridge was built after five years, together with the winding roads through the valley.
Next, concrete, bridge was built in 1934, and served till 2010 when it let place tothe current bridge. The roundabout next to the bridge is also from that time, it follows the new trend in replacing usual junctions. A new Plasy bypasss hould be build within the next few years including a new bridge.
