CHESTNUT
The Chestnut tree produces chestnuts and the existing specie in Portugal is the Castanea Sativa. It is easily identified by the serrated green leaves that become translucent when crossed by light. Now that you know how to recognize a chestnut tree, try looking for some along this section, where many can be found.
