Intro to this Cache Location
Welcome to some Colorful Rocks along the side of the road as you make your way to the trailhead to Thousand-Person Cave!
Now these rocks may not have the same rainbow-like array of colors like the ones in the desert of Nevada, U.S.A. do, but these rocks in Shigupan (石鼓盤) still have their appeal that make them worthy of a visit, especially when they are slowly being overtaken by Mother Nature. If you look closely at all the artwork, you will see that monkey_travels is right there with you too!
Info About Road Condition (from Shih Gu Pan Villa (石鼓盤山莊) to Trailhead Parking Lot for Thousand-Person Cave)
Please note: The road (beginning at Waypoint 1) to this cache and onwards to the parking lot to Thousand Person Cave (Waypoint 5) is a very narrow road that is only wide enough for one car. This road has very few spots to allow enough room for another vehicle to pass, so please drive this route very caredfully. If you meet oncoming traffic, pulling off to the side is very difficult to virtually impossible as there is way too much plant overgrowth on either side to allow for safe parking so please note that you may have to back up to a wider area somewhere along the road to allow for oncoming traffic to pass. With that said, this route is usually not busy so it is unlikely you will run into any oncoming traffic but still be prepared. There is a wide enough area of land for you to park right at Waypoint 3 if you want to walk to this cache. Otherwise, you may find a makeshift parking space at Waypoint 4 if you decide to continue onwards and be closer to the GZ. Or you may decide to park at the Parking Lot (Waypoint 5) near the Trailhead to Thousand-Person Cave (千人洞) and walk ten minutes back to this cache location.
