What is Tag Haunt?

Tag Haunts is the October 2018 round of the international Snag the Tag game. The game combines three fun geocaching elements: a night hunt, trackable coins and an event. The game starts October 20th with tags being published up until event on 27th Oct. Players are urged to sign up for notifications at https://haunt.snagthetag.com/map.php and to view the game map.

The Night Hunt: 10 tags will be hidden locally to this event between Oct 7 and Oct 17, these will not be in geocaches. Tag locations will be published starting Oct 20 during the evening. Finders claim their tag online and redeem it at the event for a matching Finders Edition geocoin (FE). The (trackable) coin and tag fit together to form an awesome Soul Catcher!

An additional 10 Event Edition geocoins (EE) will be available to buy at the event. These are exclusive to the event and will not be available anywhere else

There are just 6 locations worldwide that the October round of the Snag The Tag game is being run!

To ensure fairness only 1 tag/coin may be claimed per household (there is nothing stopping you passing extra tags to friends)
