This little courtyard in the heart of Saint Petersburg is hidden from casual passers - tourists are usually scared by shabby gateway and don't come in, and even the locals may not know about this place. But one who comes inside will fill themself like Indiana Jones exploring an abandoned sanctuary in in the jungles of the New World: mysterious statues of ancient gods with unpronounceable names stand here, gathered in a magical circle.
By a legend, in this courtyard one can not tell lies, otherwise the curse of the gods falls upon him. That's why many girls bring here their beloved ones to find out the truth about their feelings. It is considered also that the gods can fulfill a wish of anyone who gets in the middle of the circle and asks them sincerely and ardently, but the price for that can be high, so better think twice!
The gate is usually closed at night (and who knows what strange things are happening there at that time!)
