Geocachers, don’t miss the 7th annual Discover L&A County Geocaching Event, happening on August 17, 2019!
The event will once again be held at the beautiful grounds of the Lennox & Addington County Museum and Archives, located at 97 Thomas Street East in Napanee. (N 44° 15.142 W 076° 57.020).
We've attracted thousands of geocachers to Lennox & Addington County since our first event in 2011. Last year, more than 1,000 geocachers from around the world attended L&A's sixth consecutive MEGA Event. This year marks our 7th MEGA Anniversary, and like every year we will have many activities to keep you busy, from mini-events to live, local music.
Oh, and lots and lots of new geocaches!

Friday, August 16th, 9:30 - 10am... Fun by the Water

This event is a quick meet and greet with the L&A Geocachers. Everyone welcome, pets included. Join us at the DLA table for some great stories, and possible some MEGA secrets. For those that rented or have canoes & kayaks, bring them along and paddle the Salmon River after the event!
Friday, August 16th, 10am - 2pm... Water Cache Canoe Cruise
Looking to get out on the water in L&A? We'll have a limited assortment of canoes and kayaks available for the day! If you have your own watercraft, bring it along and take part in the fun. More details are available on the L&A Geocaching website.

Friday, August 16th, 7pm... Meet the Lackey

For the first time in the history of the DLA MEGA, Geocaching Headquarters is sending a Lackey to Lennox & Addington! A Lackey an employee of Geocaching HQ in Seattle and are chosen to attend MEGA events around the world. It's a pretty big deal and we're really excited to have ktaylor211 with us!
Saturday, August 17th... MEGA SATURDAY!!!
- 8am - 4pm... Leave your mark in the log book and pick up information packages that detail fun geocaching activities taking place during the weekend. The event venue is open and staff are available all day to answer your questions. Drop in anytime for a coffee or share geocaching stories. Games, draws and activities will be available throughout the day.
- 9am - 4pm... Head to all corners of Lennox & Addington County for some world-class geocaching. Choose from more than 1,500 geocaches in L&A County, or try your hand at some of the many new caches that will be published just in time for the event!
- 4 - 5pm... After a fun day exploring L&A County, head back to the event venue for your chance to win an amazing assortment of prizes, hear closing remarks, and say 'cheese' for the popular group photo.
- 5:30pm... The Post-MEGA Dinner is a DLA tradition! Tickets are on sale now at the website below.

L&A graciously allows us to play the Geocaching game in their County so why not give a bit back to the community by doing a little clean up? We supply the bags and get rid of the trash. You bring gloves.
