[LAT] Pils ēka neobaroka stilā celta 19.gs. iepriekšējās kungu mājas vietā. Šobrīd tajā atrodas 1937.gadā ierīkotā Kocēnu pamatskola. Teodors Henriks fon Šrēders angļu tipa parku ierīkoja 19. gs., kad tas aptvēra aptuveni astoņus hektārus ar dīķiem, lieliem vietējo sugu kokiem un atsevišķiem eksotiem.

Šis slēpnis ir arī daļa no tūrisma akcijas "Simtgades dārgumi", ko organizē Valmieras Tūrisma informācijas centrs sadarbībā ar Kocēnu, Burtnieku un Beverīnas novadiem. Vairāk info: visit.valmiera.lv

[ENG] The castle building in a neo baroque style was built in the 19 century in the place of the former manor. Currently there is Kocēni Primary School established in 1937. Theodor Henry von Schroeder made the English-style Park in the 19th century, when it covered about eight hectares with ponds, large native species and individual exotics.
