Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

[ENG] In the Goat Rapids rowing slalom track, which was built in 1969, often can be seen excitement and persistence of both young and experienced athletes, but the Gauja River also keeps memories of earlier sporty events - swimming, rowing and diving competitions during the first "Gauja Festival" in 1937. There is a rowing sports base built next to the Goats' Rapids in 1986, as well as a secured and well-fitted left bank of the Gauja River, where a quiet walking trail leads to the Vanšu Bridge.

This cache is also part of tourism campaign "Centennial treasures". More info: visit.valmiera.lv
