The weekend of 28th/29th July is earmarked to be the last one I spend in Bray before the big arrival of GeoBaby McMur, and we will be spending a portion of Sunday 29th attending the Bray Air Display. It's been ages since I've made it to an event south of the border, so I thought it would be nice to host one last event for a little while...
What?
A picnic style event on Bray beach (everybody send good weather vibes and BYOPicnic!!).
Where?
At the posted coordinates on the pebble beach in Bray (infront of the shelter, parallel with Convent Avenue.
When?
Sunday, 29th July from 1:30pm until at least 2pm
Need to know:
Anybody who has been on Bray beach before, will know there is very limited sand (read: a patch the size of a child's sand pit at the harbour wall at the north end), otherwise there are stones and water. So I strongly advise you to bring deckchairs or camping chairs instead of planning to sit on the ground. Or you could stand.
The event is being held shortly before the Bray Air Display so Bray will be VERY busy. I have provided parking coordinates a few hundred metres from the beach if you have trouble parking. Alternatively, the DART or Dublin Bus will get you to Bray in a less stressful fashion.
