Near the cache one can see an old wooden whote building. That is the old old school bulding for the Straumen area. Behind it one can see a yellow building. That is the old school. On the other side of the road, one can see a big brown modern building, which is the current school. The white building now serves as a gallery and community centre. The yellow building now serves as a business park for creative businesses, intro programme classrooms and a volunteer´s central.
Golden Caches
Inderøy is a municipality in Trøndelag. Inderøy has almost 7000 inhabitants. Farming, construction, food processing and tourism are the largest sources for employment. Inderøy literally means "The Inner Island" but is, in fact, a peninsula. It is known to be picturesque and has several beautiful farms. One of the old roads, or routes, that leads you through Inderøy is often referred to as "The Golden Road/detour" (Den Gyldne Omvei in Norwegian). Sights, hiking trails, beautiful old and maintained farms and businesses that accommodate travellers are visible from the route today. In June 2018 nine caches were placed alongside this route.
