The cache is a lock-and-lock hidden near a pond on Clove creek and just off the Fahnestock Trail not far from the junction with the Clove Creek trail. The closest trailheads are the Charcoal Burners trail where it crosses route 301: take the Charcoal Burners trail north to the blue-marked Fahnestock trail, or the parking on East Mountain Rd (parking and trailhead coordinates provided): take the Clove Creek trail to the intersection with the Fahnestock trail.
