Geocache Description:

Hermon Calvinistic Methodist Chapel was first built before 1780, rebuilt in 1825 and rebuilt again in 1862. The present chapel, dated 1862, was built in the Classical style with a gable-entry plan, two storeys and tall round-headed windows.

One of the key ministers at Hermon in the early 20th century was a David Evans, and along with the more well known Rev P Marchant Lewis was a great contributor to the Welsh revival at the time. You can read more about those spine tingling events on this website...

Go to the first location and find the date at the top of the facade, this is ABCD. Final Location is at N51 30.(a) (a+b) (d) W003 34.(floodlightsx3)(bells)(steps to front door), where there is also something interesting, although much more modern, for you to see
