Geocache Description:

Le village de Chemilly est dominé par son château qui faisait partie du système défensif de la vallée de la Saône.
Un puissant donjon du 13è et 14è siècle peut être observé à l'intérieur des restes d'enceinte du château féodal.
Vous passerez également sur un petit pont du 18è qui enjambe le Durgeon qui se jette dans la Saône un peu plus loin. Sur ce joli pont de pierres se dresse la staute de St Jean de Népomucène dont le socle est armorié. Juste derrière la statue et sur un bras de la rivière se dresse une maison contemporaine qui aurait été dessinée par un proche collaborateur de Le Corbusier.
