This vast flat ground stuck between the left bank of the Isere with its bicyle path and the Tarentaise train track is used in many ways : pasture land for the cows that make our delicious Beaufort, concerts now and then, but mostly landing zone for a good many funny multicolored birds ; i.e, the paragliders. They use this lovely lawn both to finish their flight and play with their wings in the wind.
Who knows ? Some of you will may be have reached the cache after a solo or accompanied flight ! Don’t hesitate to relax after the experience : the refreshment chalet is there for you. And then, you’ll just have to snoop around. The cache is sometimes well watched upon by a tiny army !
