Roundabout MK Meets #23 incorporating
Winter Geolympix Countdown 3: Milton Keens.
The 23rd bi-monthly Roundabout MK Meets event and a chance to socialise with other cachers, plus hear about our plans for the Winter Geolympix Mega which is being held at Ashridge Estate, Berkhamsted, Herts on Saturday October 27th 2018.
Where: The Fountain, London Road, Loughton, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK5 8AF. Phone 01908 666203. Room 20+ people reserved. Please say how many you are in your Will Attend logs to help me ensure the pub is ready for us! The 'bottom end of the bar area' has been booked with Kyle.
When: Tuesday the 24th of July 2018, from 7pm 'til 9.30pm (food served til 10pm).
What: A gathering of cachers to talk caching, swap travel items and caching stories, and enjoy the venue's hospitality. Sorry, no dogs but they do welcome children so consider shaving your dog and dressing it up? There's also free wifi. In many ways the follow-up event to last month's Winter Geolympix Countdown 4: Young Bucks.
Why: The Winter Geolympix Countdown cache events are roadshow meets to promote the Winter Geolympix and talk about the plans we have for the best (tbc) Geocaching event of 2018! There's awesome night caching, stalls and stands, quirky photo-op caches, Europe's 9th oldest cache (England's 2nd oldest, UK's 3rd oldest) plus the UK's oldest Puzzle cache, the National Series Caches Challenge and much, much more!
Also: A theme of the Winter Geolympix is old caches - England's oldest (UK's 2nd oldest), GC171, is close by - and we'll have freebies to give out, plus goodies to buy if you'd like to help support the Mega. No pressure.
