Houghton Hall Park is a publicly accessible 17 hectare urban park with a rich heritage, highly valued by the local community and playing an important role in the history, culture and landscape of the local area.
It has recently received a lottery grant and now has a visitors centre, cafe and children's play areas scattered throughout.
It is very popular with dog walkers and joggers in the park, especially early weekend mornings. Stealth may be required!.
The park is also home to an abudance of wildlife including birds and bats as well as many species of flora and fauna.
There are lots of paths to explore which are mainly wheelchair and buggy friendly, although the actual cache locations may be a bit trickier. All the caches are family friendly and hidden to be found.
To Find This Cache..
The Cache is NOT at the published coordinates but somewhere within Houghton Hall Park. You need to download the Wherigo cartridge before you start
The cartridge for this Reverse Cache Wherigo was developed by -Waldmeister- and has been re-used in many different caches. To find this cache, you need to download this Wherigo cartridge to your device, press "PLAY" and type in these codes to activate the cartridge.

You will then become the owner of a Reverse-Cache-Box, which will not give you coordinates but indicate the distance to the geocache. Your task is to find the geocache using the box as few times as possible for checking the distance.
Please remember to take the code with you, as you might need it if there is a problem with your device. Once you are within 25 metres you will be offered the final coordinates and be awarded a score out of 5!
Good Luck and Happy Hunting!
