Fort Stevenson State Park has survived another North Dakota winter, and needs a bit of sprucing up. Come on out and help us leave it better than we found it!
Meeting time will be at 1030 am.
The state park staff will provide plastic bags, plastic gloves, limited trash gathering tools, and other equipment as needed to complete cleanup/beautification goals.
From 10:30am to 11:30am the logbook will be available, but we will continue until we have sufficiently met state park goals.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own gardening gloves, trash grabbing tools and sturdy/waterproof footwear is strongly recommended. There are many areas where CITO participants could find themselves muddy/wet terrain.
Should you have extra trash grabbers at home please bring them with you because we might not be able to provide trash grabbers and gloves for everyone depending on how many people participate in the CITO.
We are planning to form teams so we can clean up in different parts of the park and cover a larger area.
After the trash is picked up we will meet up again at the meeting point. Then we will have a potluck finger food luncheon. If you would like to prepare something for the luncheon please send me a message or make a note in the Will Attend Log.
A picnic area and restroom will be available.
While participating, please observe -
Parking: Plenty of parking at the event coords.
Thanks for your interest in the CITO, I hope to see you there!
