The town of Klemme, Iowa was established in 1889 on land owned by Harmon Klemme. The town was incorporated 10 years later in 1899. I wasn't able to find information on when Calvary Cemetery (also Eli Township Cemetery) was established, but the earliest grave I saw was for August F. Bettin, who died in January of 1877 at 4 months old. The next earliest graves were from the late 1890's.
