Golden cookie stolen!

Hanover: The iconic golden cookie has been stolen from one of the country's most famous biscuit makers. This trademark sign, a 20 kg gilded bronze representation of a biscuit that graced the facade of the cookie baker's Hanover office, was originally created by a well-known sculptor.

It is still unclear exactly how the symbol was removed, but police say witnesses reported having seen someone with a ladder in the area. Following the disappearance, the biscuit baker received the following ransom note:

Ransom Note

Based on this letter and the eye-witnesses, a group of expert profilers at Interpol compiled a rather detailed perpretator profile. In view of the fact that many geocachers possess considerable deductive skills, the police has requested our assistance to resolve this case.

  • The alleged perpatrator was described of having an androgynous appearance, though all witness seem to agree on the fact that they saw the silhouette of a male.
  • The thief drew the witnesses' attention because of his "blue" colour. Following a meticulous hair analysis, the forensic investigators postulated the theory that the hair is dyed with the same hue as used by Marge Simpson.
  • From the ransom note, they infer that the culprit possesses only basic lexical skills, slightly superior to those of the currently acting American president (status May 2018). The limited, simple, repetitive vocabular mimics that of a toddler.
  • He has the verbal skills of a high-level beginner. It is clear that he has been practicing the alphabet, however, there seems to be an unusual (and rather unhealthy) preference for the letter C.
  • Eye-witnesses describe the man to showing signs of bilateral exophthalmos as well as extreme strabismus. However, his movements seem not to hinder his coordination.
  • NSA profilers found out that he is operating under a befitting nome de plume. There is evidence that he believed the first part of this name to sound similar to a major Australian city.
  • NSA also pointed out that this person doesn't take internet security seriously enough, as he always allows cookies.
  • The gluttonous gobbler appears to be an omnivore. Though there is the widespread rumours of him becoming a vegetarian, they have refuted regularly. Especially in his "coming of age" he used to eat EVERYTHING!! Over the course of this lifetime, he has encouraged others to proper nutrition and a more balanced, healthier diet.
  • From leftovers found at the crime scene, the investigators that the suspect eats three square meals a day, including many circular desserts.
  • Investigators and profilers are still baffled and flabbergasted by the echomimetic sounds at the end of the letter. Does this onomatopoeia have a hidden meaning?

It seems that the profilers did an excellent job. The suspect's name is on the tip of my tongue, but the words won't come. Please help the police by entering his name in the checker below. If your answer is correct, you receive the coordinates where the ransom payment takes place. Stay calm and don't panic! The cookie-loving community counts on you!

Due to problems relating to the hiding place of the secret cookie stash, we had to hide a substitute stash, regrattable much smaller und more run-of-the-mill :-s

We are looking for a solution. In the meantime, we have uploaded these photos of the stash just to show that we have done our best to offer a more interesting stash.
