Returning to the spot of my first ever Star Wars Day event!
May 4 is considered a holiday by some Star Wars fans and geocachers to celebrate the franchise's film series, books and culture. The date was chosen for the easy pun on the catchphrase "May the Force be with you" - "May the Fourth be with you". Even though the holiday was not actually created or declared by Lucasfilm, many fans across the world choose to celebrate the holiday.
The event will run from 12PM to 1PM . I will be wearing my blue New Market Mallers jersey and will be standing behind the George M Cohen statue, which is SW of the red bleachers. The statue is just north of 46th Street. So come on down and say hello, sign the log and maybe exchange some trackables.
