Salcombe Regis War Memorial is situated at a road junction just above the village and next to Soldier's Hill.
It is a granite Latin cross on a low square plinth with a two step octagonal base containing the dedications.
In order to find the cache, the following information needs to be obtained:-
The number of lives lost in the 1914-1918 War = A
The number of lives lost in the 1939-1945 War = B
The number of families that appeared to lose more than one person = C
The number on the front of the communications cabinet on the opposite side of the road is DE
The numbers on the disks fixed to the telegraph pole next to the cabinet are 3F
