Geocache Description:

This is a LETTERBOX HYBRID geocache. Letterboxing is a precursor of geocaching, using compass bearings or other clues to lead the seeker to the letterbox. The cache contains a logbook and a stamp. If you wish, you may stamp your personal journal with the rubber stamp in the letterbox (cache); then you may stamp the logbook with your personal stamp if you have one - if you don't have a stamp, just sign the logbook. But, please be sure to leave the stamp, logbook, and inkpad in the container.

There are posted coordinates for Parking and for your Starting Point.  Once at the starting point, you will follow the DIRT road up a slight incline.  You will stay on this road bed until you see a tree with a RED tape tied around it.  This is where you need to turn LEFT into the woods. (The road makes a left hand turn at the top - if you reach this turn and haven't seen the red tape, then you have gone to far). Standing beside this tree, you will need to count 9 paces, start with your left foot and count every time your right foot touches the ground.  The host should be pretty obvious.  Please be careful with the urban camo hiding the cache and replace so the cache itself is not seen by others.

As with all of my new caches, there is a trackable for the FTF to move along.  Safe caching!

NOTE 3-25-2023: VIEW MAINTENANCE LOG ON THIS DATE FOR MORE DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS…if needed. I don’t want to change the difficulty rating, but some have had difficulty founding this cache.
